Planning has begun for the 3rd Beaver Tales production! Scott Kasbaum, Jacque LaFreniere, Lisa Gillespie and John Fiegen would like to invite all interested parties to participate in this year's production. Here are the details:
Theme: A homecoming picnic under the shoe tree. Unfamiliar about the shoe tree? Well, someone started it on Fox Lake Road. Several pairs of shoes or such are thrown up on the branches of this tree. Our thought was to expand upon that with stories and songs inspired by the items in the tree. People can come and go, a piano is mysteriously found in the bushes (for Scott to play of course), it'll be an out of doors house party!
Dates: (potentially June 17th)
July 8 and July 23 (Museum Week)
August 12 (homecoming weekend)
Sept. 2 ( Labor Day weekend)
So put on your thinking caps, start rummaging around in your closets for items (doesn't have to be shoes) to match your song or story and contact one of the above directors with your idea. ALL ARE WELCOME!
We like to keep our show to around 1 hour in length.
