Lenten vegetarian pot luck dinner

Friday March 4th 6:00pm Peaine Township Hall. Veggie burgers will be offered as the entree. Participants are encouraged to bring a vegetarian side dish or soup. Desserts are welcome too. In Pope Francis' recent encyclical on the environment we have been encouraged to move to a plant based diet. By sharing a vegan/vegetarian meal we can try new flavor combinations and foods. Please bring a dish to share and perhaps your recipe.To help me know the quantity of burgers needed please RSVP 448-2998 Heidi Vigil. Thanks, I hope to see you there!

Sounds great!! Sure wish I could be there!! How about something similar this summer!!

Vegan/Vegetarian potluck dinners with summer fare sounds fabulous. I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps as a Sunday picnic, like in days gone by. :mrgreen:
