Deer checks

Deer checks will be again conducted by Jacque LaFreniere, 448-2220. Patches are available for successful hunters. We need data on both bucks and does. During Bow season, please call and I'll come check your deer or make arrangements to meet you. During rifle season I will also be at the boat dock in the mornings prior to the boat leaving.
Data needed includes age which I can determine from its teeth, rack information, general area taken (north or south on the island), date, etc.
All data is shared with the DNR and that helps us determine the health of the herd and future management.
