SPECIAL! Since I am now in possession of the 4th McGuffey Reader (1866, I think), we'll have a lesson on "The Old Horse", which begins:
"No, children, he shall not be sold;
Go, lead him home, and dry your tears;
'Tis true, he's blind, and lame, and old;
But he has served us twenty years."
