WOW !! Equipment for BIFD and BIEMS !!

We are happy to announce that the Fire Dept. Auxiliary has approved the purchases of a battery powered cot for the EMS and a new thermal imager and automatic hose roller for the BI Fire Department. These purchases will benefit the safety and well-being of the people of Beaver Island, and ease the workload of our incredible volunteers in EMS and Fire Department.
Island Treasures Resale Shop, with its dedicated volunteers, loyal donors, and enthusiastic shoppers, was able to finance the purchases totaling over $20,000 ! Our year round volunteer operation meets the needs of our community by recycling usable goods and charging fair prices. The list of Resale Shop volunteers totals almost 30 hard working people. They are on duty all year and are eager to help.
