Attention bird watchers. Our grandson Seth has made it official. The Morel mushrooms are now appearing. So, while you are out there looking in the sky for your favorite feathered friends, make sure to look down as well for those small edible treasures. Also, if you do not like mushroom's you can use them as powerful bargaining tools to gain the favor of those who do like them! If you are new to the Morel mushroom make sure you do two things after finding them. 1) Show them to a experienced hunter to verify their authenticity. 2) Wash them in a salt water solution to remove any unwanted pests i.e. bugs.
