Beaver Island Michigan

Paperwork has been submitted from BIEMS to the State of Michigan, EMS Division, to offer an EMT class over the summer of 2014 for an EMT class. This class will meet on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 6-10 pm.

The class will begin on May 1, 2014, and will finish on August 19, 2014.

Any community members interested in this program should contact the instructor, Joe Moore, ASAP. Book orders will be placed in the next week.

The State of Michigan, EMS Division of the Department of Community Health, has approved the Basic EMT course to start on May 1 and continue until August 19, 2014. This academy course will meet four nights per week for four hours per night.

This class is a go! Approval from the State of Michigan, approval by BIEMS, and approval of the instructor have all been obtained and are ready for the start date of May 1, 2014.
