Beaver Island Basketball to be live on the Internet

Weather permitting, Beaver Island News on the 'Net will be live streaming the Mackinaw Island Lakers versus Beaver Island Islanders and Lady Islanders basketball tonight beginning at 6 pm, 1/31/14 and the games tomorrow morning beginning at 8:30 a.m., 2/1/14 You can view these live streamed games at

According to Athletic Director Kerry Smith, the planes have left Beaver Island and are bringing the Mackinaw Island Lakers back to Beaver for the games tonight.

You can view them tonight live on the Internet. There will also be cheerleading and a Taedwondo demonstration between the games.
