Red Cross donations down 10%, please participate

The annual Rita Gillespie Memorial Red Cross Blood drive will be held tomorrow, July 25th from 12 to 5:45 PM at the Gregg Fellowship Hall.
June Red Cross blood donations were down 10%, resulting in a 50,000 unit shortage nationwide.
Donors who sign up for appointments in advance are usually processed faster. However, walk-ins are welcome and needed to make our goal! Call 448-2379 or 448-2470 to make an appointment.
Photo ID or Red Cross Blood card are required to donate so please bring identification with you.
Red Cross officials have issued an emergency request for donations of all types, especially types O, A negative and B negative. For the second straight year, blood and platelet donation levels in June and early July are much lower than expected. Your donation is needed and appreciated more than ever right now.
