The USCG cutter Biscayne Bay came into the harbor, Paradise Bay, and broke the ice, so that the Emerald Isle ferry can make a trip tomorrow, April 4, 2013. Beaver Island News on the 'Net (BINN) provided LIVE video of the Biscayne Bay's trip into the harbor and through the entire process. The live streaming video did not stop until the Biscayne Bay had finished its work and was heading out of the harbor.
The live video feed was available for viewing at http://beaverisland.tv LIVE while the event was taking place. There will also be on demand video posted on BINN once the video is processed.
