We all love those get-aways to Mainland America where the mall beckons and stores trumpet their holiday sales. But please donâ??t forget our local merchants have much to offer and many of our friends and relations who live elsewhere would love something from Beaver Island tucked under their tree.
The "Island Columns" Broder Book would be a great addition to any Island collection - and proceeds benefit the BI Rural Health Center. Island logoed shirts and beach towels, Island glasses and mugs, handcrafted items from our local artisans, or perhaps a beer coozie made with local beaver fur - all would make wonderful gifts. Our local stores and shops make our life possible for those of us lucky enough to live here year round. They deserve our support. So shop the Island for Christmas this year and have a wonderful holiday season!
