Own a piece of Beaver Island History

The Preservation Association of Beaver Island is selling antique tin ceilings from the McCann Building (Dockside Market), which was constructed before the turn of the century. These pieces of history are approximately 26 inches x 94 inches in size. They are painted white but can be cleaned and use for a variety of uses in a kitchen back splash, around fireplaces and heating stoves, for accent walls, etc.

The price for each piece is $25.00 and they will be available Saturday December 3, 2005 from 10:00 AM until noon at the Emerald Isle Storage lockers located at the 4-Corners .

If you would like some of this tinwork and will not be on the island you can send a check for the number of pieces you want. E-mail me at b_tidmore@hotmail.com for further information.

You can see a picture of the ceilings at the following web site.
