Beaver Island Michigan

Our family spent a week in August at BI and had a great time. Exploring, Beach picnic, walking around town ect. We are coming to BI again the Friday after Thanksgiving for a long weekend. We will be bringing our Jeep this time and hope to do more exploring. What can we expect? Weather? # of businesses open?

Will my Centenniel Wireless phone work in town? Incoming and outgoing?

Any other comments or points of Fall interest for our visit?

Kraig, It will likely be more inclement than not!! You never know what you are going to get at that time of year. The Lodge will be open for "pub food", Shamrock, Stoney Acre and Dalwhinnie will also be open. With the leaf's down you will be able to see much more of the terra firma but it could be cold and probably windy. We have seen tremendous snowstorms that time of year but who knows. I think you will find a stark but beautiful difference in what you observed in August!!!

Our family loves the winter months. We are bring our Jeep and looking forward to driving around the island and interior roads again.
