Post by K.D. McBride »

Has a date, in the near future, been set for hazardous material at the Transfer Station?

Great news!

It was announced at this month’s Waste Management Committee that the Transfer Station is working with Charlevoix County to remove (up to) 55 gallon drums of hazardous material from the Island.

I believe this is being done for the first time in several years.

If you have barrels or other large bulk containers of hazardous material and would like to get them taken care of - please stop by the transfer station and make arrangements.

If you feel that you MAY be a day late or dollar short - please stop by and see if arrangements can be made!!

Thanks!

Brock
