Sometimes, it seems as if there is a great deal of negativity being posted here. There are some really joyous times happening on Beaver Island, and they are completely ignored on this forum.
Some of the best examples of this was the St. Patrick's Day celebration at the school on Friday and the games in the road on Saturday. Both of these were live streamed and available to all.
These were celebrations of the joy of being on the Island a few days before the official beginning of Spring. These were great examples of many of the gatherings on the island that promote brotherhood and friendships.

Maligning volunteers by praising professionals is non-productive.

Thank you for streaming this! So much fun!! The media on the island is impressive. Radio station, newspaper and Joe's news on the net. Beaver Island is unique and had so many talented people. Just another reason to love it here!
