Live tv streaming of BICS home games

Post by RoseS »

Many people who cannot make it to the school for home games, love to watch them on live tv. Joe Moore has been doing this for the community for many years but has reached a point where he can no longer do this without some help.
Those of us who watched the basketball games this weekend are very thankful that a sponsor came forward so Joe could live stream them.
There are three more home game weekends this season. This is my effort to try to raise some money to sponsor the broadcasting of these games.
It costs Joe a minimum of $200.00 to televise the weekends games. With more he can afford to hire someone to help him. This weekend 50 people tuned in to watch the games but no donations were received from the viewers.
We need the people who watch plus the school board and staff and parents to either take out a subscription, donate or purchase a business advertisement. Any size donation will be gratefully received. So please help if you, your family or shut-in friends and relations tune it to cheer on the students.

Donate to:-

http://beaverislandnews.com/Donation%20Page.html

Or the web site, http://beaverisland.tv/
Above addresses use PayPal.

Or, send to P. O. Box 50, or hand to Joe! Need to raise minimum of $600.00 ($200.00 before this coming Friday!)

Please all donate as much as you can afford so that those unable to physically attend or are off island can still enjoy the games.

Next games this weekend so there is some urgency to get the donations rolling in. Please help. Thank you.

FYI I will donate what I can!

Thanks to those who have helped towards sponsoring the live streaming. Joe reports he has received donations of $200, 50, 20 and 20, so we are good to go this weekend and on the way to the second games. If you can donate please do so or maybe take out a subscription to news on the net so you can keep up with local events and meeting.
Many thanks, Rose
