Master Plan meeting change, and your Island priorities

Post by LIAA »

Here are this weekâ??s news and notes from your Resilient Beaver Island master planning project:

Rankings Released: Check Out Your Beaver Island Priorities

As part of the Master Planning process, you submitted more than 100 different ways to improve Beaver Island. We asked you to participate in the Action Plan Survey to turn those ideas into priority actions; see the results of your rankings here: http://www.resilientmichigan.org/beaverisle_act.asp

Meeting Change for Tuesday, December 13... Now at 7 p.m. Only

Please note that there will not be a 6 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, December 13. Please still join us at 7 p.m. in Peaine Township Hall for the Joint Planning Commission Meeting to review draft chapters of the Master Plan and discuss your Island priorities as ranked in the Action Plan Survey. This meeting is more of a roundtable discussion and is open to the public; everyone is encouraged to join!

Documenting the Island

The seasons are changing on the Island, and your photos have been documenting that beautifully. Submit your Beaver Island photos and we'll use them to illustrate the new Master Plan. Full photo credit will be given for any photo that is used in the Master Plan. Share your photos here: http://www.resilientmichigan.org/beaverisle_pics.asp
