This year mice presence has been the highest I have ever seen!! It seems as they know the snow is coming.
We have had calls all year long for mice which is unusual because they nomally invade in the fall, spend the winter in a house, and then leave .
Catching what's inside is important never poison inside !!!Snap traps, glue boards and even the old "beaver island bucket trap" work well to catch mice on the interior. We will not and do not recommend that poisons are used inside. Using bait inside will cause the mice to die inside. The old saying "they will leave to go find water" is not true and will not happen.
In addition to catching what's inside and baiting on the exterior of the structure, sealing and excluding is key. There are numerous houses that just are not sealed; some have old foundations, some have construction defects and many bilco doors are never seal ed right.
We are licensed to use bait and bait staions on the exterior to reduce the mice population. Our bait boxes can hold snap traps and bait, so those that have time to check can check their traps and monitor activity. But because most of our customers are not here they have us do it .
Our bait stations are designed to be the strongest on the market so we don't have problems with none targets and pets safety is our biggest concern We also scan in our new Evo bait stations for digital data tracking. So if you have mice problems get on the list and have us inspect and see what you need and if your not home we will email pictures and show you whats wrong
We are installing chimney cap and sealing chimney crowns garage door seals and installing stainless steel crawlspace vent covers too
