New Year's Eve

Post by woodchopper57 »

Happy hour will start at 5:30 and end at 8:30, with music starting at 6 - until ?. Cindy Gillespie-Cushman, John McCafferty, Edward Palmer and Brian Roman will be starting things off, Danny Gillespie and Danny Johnston will be playing afterward, and then the near-dead RigorMortis will take over and ring in the New Year, with other folks adding a couple songs in throughout the night. 18 to be admitted, 21 to be served. Once again I'm looking for volunteers to bartend and sell admission at the door, and clean-up on Jan 2. Please email me at gillespiej_98@yahoo.com or call Mary Palmer at 231-448-2304. We will also be making a donation to the community center from some of the proceeds.

New Year's Update

Post by woodchopper57 »

Admission will be $10.00 per person, happy hour prices will be $1.00 per drink from 5:30-8:30 and $2.00 per drink for the rest of the evening.

The proceeds of the dance are for Holy Cross Church with a small donation to the community center. There was a suggestion that maybe we can start a fund for a floor scrubber for the hall.

Please come and ring in the New Year together as a community. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Near dead Rigormortis huh?? You will be "Grateful" to know that Rich Scripps, Randy Osborn and Rich Gillespie intend to make it a memorable evening for all (not sure if we will fight however!) Bring you dancing shoes, numerous Elvis songs will be played along with many other favorites. Happy New Year

New Year's Eve at the Hall was a great time! Thanks to Julie Gillespie, Mary Palmer, and the many others that put this event together. The Hall looked very festive, music was great, and of course it was a fine time for dancing and visiting.
