Beaver Island Wildlife Club's Annual Harold Lounsberry Memorial Dinner (AKA Hunter's Dinner) will be held at the Shamrock on Nov. 17th. The Rifle Raffle will also be drawn that night. Tickets are available from any board member. ($10 each, or 11 for $100). There are many prizes besides the rifle, a 0.243 Weatherby Vanguard. There is a fishing trip with Kelly Day Charters, binoculars, a range finder, trail cams, Pyke Gear hunting pants, a camping package, a call package, and gift cards to Powers Hardware and Cabelas. Also during the dinner will be a 52-card drawing for a 20 gauge Pump Benelli (only 52 chances are sold), 50/50 raffles and more.
Get in on the Roy Elsworth memorial Big Buck Contest- firearm and muzzleloading seasons only. Must sign up before the end of the business day at Power's Hardware on Nov. 14th. No late entries. Buck must be scored on Beaver Island by Deny Keehn. $20 buy in.
Also, during Firearm season only- Biggest Doe contest. No buy in, $100 cash prize, register and weigh in for your doe is at the BIBCO boat dock.
