History of Beaver Island Speaker

HI! I am hoping that someone here can help me out. I am a librarian in Romeo (Metro Detroit) and am looking for someone to speak about the History of Beaver Island. If someone is able to help me out or you have suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!

Our children went to Romeo schools and we live in Washington Township. I was born on Beaver Island and lived there until 10th grade so can help. I know of others who can give you more information if you would like.
