Halloween Tick or Treating

Many have ask the question about this Halloween and what will be happening so hopefully this will help....

"Halloween is on Saturday this year, and the community is planning to provide COVID-19 safe trick or treat options. The Beaver Island Chamber of Commerce is coordinating “Trick or Treat on Main Street” and the beloved “Trunk or Treat” will be taking place at the Gregg Fellowship Center. Trick or Treat on Main Street will involve members of the business community setting up tables outside their storefront and providing candy or goody bags to trick or treaters. The Trunk or Treat event will feature tables being set up under the covered walkway at the Gregg Fellowship Center. Both events will take place from 5:00 to 6:30 pm on October 31, 2020 and coordinators of both events note that parents are responsible for their children's social distancing at the tables when they are trick or treating. And, as always, someone dressed as the BICS Superintendent-Principal will be at the school. This year, he will be set up at a table at the front of the building providing individually bagged snacks (including a toothbrush or toothpaste!) for each BICS student." BICS Weekly Update
