When considering all the "unknowns" that are being incorrectly being thrown out there, refer to the Resilent Master Plan to help answer those. It was adopted by both townships to help with the visioning for the next 10 years. Usually the townships each budget thousands of dollars to write a new plan every 10 years. No township dollars were used, it was essentially a gift to the island. For the first time, people who were not on the island during the winter were able to participate via a website that was developed.

Re: Beaver Island's Master Plan
Thank you Pam for posting the Master Plan I had asked about on a previous post.
The "unknowns" are important to understand. You are so correct! That is why asking direct questions should be welcomed by both sides.
I had an opportunity to look it over and it is beautiful! What a wonderful joint projects by both townships and the community. You can see alot of hard work went into this.

Since posting, others have requested a link to the Master Plan and documents. Try this if the other link did not work: http://www.resilientmichigan.org/beaver_island.asp
