How To Get Rid of Fruit Flies:

Post by kat »

Noticed these little guys at a local restaurant this week, & heard some people say they have 'em at home. A cup of vinegar or red wine with a squirt of dish soap will attract the flies & the soap immobilizes them. Fruits & veggies should be refrigerated.

Fruit fly's are a sanitation issue once there is introduction through flowers and on fruit they breed lay eggs and they hatch every 5-7 days and there laying the eggs in garbage cans ,returnables, drains and residues that are not clean.
Knocking them down with a fog or raid product is probably the most effective just have to knock them down wait a few days and do it again .
