Bob Banville RIP

Post by Marie LaFreniere »

It's with heavy heart that I say Bob passed away this morning.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with the Rosary at 7:45p.m. at Holy Cross Church.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 23 at Holy Cross Church with Fr. Pat Cawley officiating. There will be a Tribute to Bob at Amvets Park immediately following Mass. A luncheon will follow at Holy Cross Parish Hall.

Bob, Sail onto fairer seas where worldly burdens are washed away and one can be at peace. You will be missed and long remembered as a fine friend and person.

From Rach:
When somebody smiles that great big smile from ear to ear, even if you don't want to smile, you feel it in your heart. When a laugh is hearty, you know it's from a person with a sense of humor, and many stories to tell. When you know a prankster, sure you know annoyance, but go back to that smile and laugh. When you feel at ease with someone, you know that they will protect you, and the one's you love. When somebody has mad love for somebody you have mad love for, you know he's great.

This afternoon with the bright sun in the sky, and a soft breeze, Robert "Bob" Matthew Banville, my stepdad, took his final flight down Runway 2 7. We have no doubt he was met by Rusty at the Rainbow Bridge.

From Rachel Becker:

In lieu of flowers, please make donation in his name to Forest View Community living or The Preservation Association (community center). If you knew Bob, you can hear him protesting about any flowers that would come to him.

We have food coverage through the week at this time. Thank you.
