The ice fishing tournament is still on for March 5 on Lake G.

Prizes! Ice fishing packages for the kids- first and second place. $50 Gift Cards to Power's Do it Best hardware for the biggest Walleye and for the biggest Pike caught by the adults.

Remember, kids under age 17 won't need a license, but over will....
and no more than three lines in the water/per person. Let's follow the rules!

Access will be at the north arm boat launch.

There will a fish weigh in from 12-2 and another later in the day for those who fish longer. The weigh in will be at the boat launch on the north arm

Bring a lunch, we'll have a bonfire going.

Levi will bring down bait and a few other fishing odds and ends for sale from the hardware.

Come join us for day of fun fishing. Put down those electronic gadgets and get out and enjoy the beautiful weather, lake and island.

Reminder if you have fishing equipment to loan for the day, and aren't planning to be on Lake... please drop off at the hardware by Friday 5 p.m. and make sure your name is on the equipment if you want it back.

Also, Bass is catch and immediate release so we won't be weighing in bass.

Kids, get signed up at the hardware too. It's going to be a great day weather wise!

Friday- please sign up for the fishing contest today.
You can still come down on Sat. even if you don't sign up, but it's important for us to know how many might be there.

Levi has bait in... minnows in the bubbling tubs outside the hardware door.

You only need a fishing license if you are over age 17. Those under do not need a license.

The Detwilers will have a camp stove and hot water going. They have hot chocolate and cookies available too.

Come on out and have a great time!

Results of Ice Fishing Tourney!

Only one fish was entered by a kid prior to 2 p.m. Christian Jaskulski caught a nice pike.
Of the adult section: there were two big Walleye's entered- Mike Green, who won the prize and Cameron LaVasseur.
Jordan Marsh and Quinn Jones shared the prize for the biggest Pike taken (on Jeff Power's Tip up).
