It seems there are a lot of questions and concerns about the purchase of the Stoney Acre/Pub. I will try to clear some of that up here. If you have anything not addressed please see me tonight at the party to celebrate fourteen years of outstanding proprietorship by Marilyn & Liam Racine.
1) it is not closing
2)the menu is not changing
3)all the staff will be retained
4)the special days and hot dog Sunday will remain
5)it is our desire to maintain the fun local culture that exemplifies the Pub
6)the name is not changing to Donegal Dana's😃
On a personal note we would like to thank our friends and customers for their support in this new venture. We would also like to thank Marilyn and Liam for making us feel welcome and helping with the transition. We will be at the party tonight if you want to talk in person.

Does all the staff retained include Liam and Marilyn, the two who set the bar (no pun intended) with the Stoney being the finest in food, beverage, price, entertainment and hospitality open year round

Not inflammatory, just a recognition of who made the Stoney what it is today. A hard act to follow but wishing you the best. If you see that as inflammatory, then we see the world and opportunity very differently.

I heard that Telephone Rick said you are going to be giving away a free puppy with every wet burrito order. Is that true? And what's with the rumor about a stripper pole being install? Please clarify.
