Update on Matt Fogg:

Matt's third surgery to close his chest from the open-heart surgery on Thursday, went well, however, while he is stable he is still very critical. He will be in the ICU for a while more. There are some big hurdles he has to overcome. Prayers are still needed. Everyone's prayers so far have been heard and felt and many have been answered! Wendy wants everyone to know just how thankful she, Sally and Jon are for the prayers and support. This has been an incredibly scary time, but the support from family and friends has helped to ease a little bit of the fear.

From Jessica: Just got AWESOME news from Wendy! Matt is off the ventilator and breathing on his own! Keep the prayers up for his pain and for a full recovery!

Update for Matt Fogg:
Small steps every day equal good, steady progress! Last night he walked the length of one of the ICU halls! They are possibly considering moving him to the Cardiac floor on Tuesday (?). Many of his tubes are out. He ate a few bites of cream of chicken soup, a little bit of Jello. He had some sips of water.
Everyone's spirits are definitely lifted!

Wonderful news! Thank you for keeping us informed, as we are all worried. Someone stopped to light a candle for Matt at church the other day, and said they were all already lit!

Mark, Dan and I are praying fervently for his recovery. Sounds like the prayers are working from everyone. Now pray that he doesn't have to spend Christmas in the hospital.

Tell Sally, Jon and Wendy are prayers are with them also.
