WVBI's summer countdown show is home for holidays! Listen on Saturdays (starting November 28th) at 10:00 a.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. for the island's own Top Ten + Five. This week's show flies against the current trend of all holiday music all the time with a look at the top spooky tunes. Why? Halloween is Emily's favorite holiday and she's the host this week.
In addition to a good dose of humor and music from the Top Ten + Five, WVBI has its normal collection of great weekend programming for you. Feed your mind Saturday and Sunday morning with the latest world, continental and environmental news with Worldlink at 6 a.m., Inside Europe at 7:00 and Living Planet at 8:00. Saturday evening after the Top Ten + Five, it's Celtic Connections at 7, the International Americana Music Show at 8, Mark Beltaire's Rockin' the Boat at 9 and Full Moon Hacksaw at 10. On Sunday afternoon, catch the classics in the afternoon at 1, Phil Becker and the Sunday Night Oldies show from 5 to 7 and then a repeat of our Saturday night music lineup. In between all of that, it's the Cottage Mix (with some Christmas tunes now and then to put you in the mood for decorating and wrapping).
