Request for Bids â?? Grounds Keeping

The Beaver Island District Library is requesting bids for grounds keeping for 2015.
The specific services required include:
â?¢ Mowing and trimming grass and weeds as needed, with associated cleanup
â?¢ Leaf and debris cleanup spring and fall
â?¢ Planting or removal of trees and shrubs, as requested
Bids should be in the format of hourly or flat rate for each type of service provided. Actual work will be expected to be completed so as to minimize disruption to library operations.

Expectations:
Contracts will be awarded based on the information presented in the bids received. We will award contracts based on the bid expected to be the most beneficial to the Library based on a range of factors. The Beaver Island District Library reserves the right to award more than one contract, accept the lowest price bid, and refuse any contract without obligation to the Library or to the company offering the proposal.

All bids must be submitted by close of business May 4th, and consideration of submitted bids will commence May 5th. Mail bids to:
