TV electronics help

My parents stream Netflix from a DVD player to their TV. It quit working a week ago. I've checked all the obvious things, but we now need somebody on the island who know something about hookups for TV electronics to help us. Anybody know of someone we could hire to come over and take a look at it? Thanks, Audrey

I stream Netflix through a Smart TV- same principle- but if I forget to pay the bill it stops working.
