Fourth of July --Party with Live Music!!

You are invited to a Beaver Island Music Festival event on the Fourth of July immediately following the parade until 8:00 p.m. Bring your chairs or blankets and enjoy live music courtesy of the B.I. Music Festival.

"Rootstand" is the featured band. Hailing from Ann Arbor, they are described as "An acoustic country blues, bluegrass, Celtic roots, rock and reggae band".

Opening for Rootstand is Beaver Island's own Kevin White Trio Featuring Miranda Rooy. (Rumor has it that the triplets will be there too!)

The parade's Super Heroes will be on hand (immediately following parade) for photo ops for kids of all ages. A water soaker game will be hot fun too.

Grilled brats, snacks, soda, cotton candy and popcorn will be available.

Great question! It will be held across the street from B.I. Marina (close to McDonough's Market. Look for Beaver head signs. (Some know the location as where Bill Friese used to live. The house is painted a bright marine blue.)
