Veterans Day Observance

I didn't check the calendar and notice that Veterans Day this year is on a Sunday so I gave the wrong information to the Northern Islander. We will be observing it on Monday November 12th at 11:00 AM at the Veterans Memorial Park. In case of rain it will be held at the St. James Fire Department.

I'll fire a cannon salute on both days at 11:00am. The veterans continue to serve through out life and do many good things over there on BI. I might start a Post over here on Whiskey Island.
