Wattana Wittaya International performance tonight!

Post by BI Community Center »

The Wattana Wittaya Academy Girls Choir and Dance Group from Bangkok, Thailand will appear on Beaver Island tonight for one performance only at 8pm!

Most of these young ladies speak some English, so be sure to say "hello" if you see them about town this afternoon!

Having performed in China, Hong Kong, Finland, Holland, Hungary, Estonia, Russia, Spain, and the United States, this group of 40 girls promises to provide Beaver Island with another wonderful, culturally diverse experience of dance and song!

There are a few tickets still available...we hope you'll join us for a great show!

What a wonderful way to open exposure of BI to other cultures and vise-versa.
Wishing everyone a successful, fun evening.

What a great performance! I hope Jeff got some outstanding photos and that they will be in the next issue of the Beacon for those unable to attend. Kudos to the Thai performers, the director, the accompanist, chaperons and to Ann Partridge of the Community Center and all who helped with the show. The boat company and the Shamrock as sponsors and all those able to attend showed what a great community we have.
