Being new to Beaver Island I took the precaution of asking if it is ok to park by the ferry dock when leaving for several days. I neglected to ask whether both sides of the street were parallel parking and mistakenly assumed this to be the case. My sincere apologies for the car parked across from the Community Center to those who will be inconvenienced by my mistake during the next week. A friend has told me where it is appropriate to park for long term parking in the future and I promise that the mistake will not be repeated.
