Beaver Island Michigan

There are a few folks who paddle to Garden Island. They are in great shape as it is about a two mile paddle. Even they don't do it on very windy days. They put folding beach chairs and a cooler strapped on and they spend the day there. One guy even paddled all the way to Fisherman's. Bay on Hog Isla...

Hopefully everyone will make an informed vote. Does anyone who plans to vote no on the millage know what the ramifications are?

As I understand it, the vote is for a continuation of the millage. There are no increases. If I could vote, it would be YES.

Well depths vary considerably on the island. I've heard of quite shallow wells and others like ours is over 150 ft. The deeper wells tap into the Lake Superior aquifer. Or so I have read.

Well, on the brighter side.. kudos for conducting the meeting in an open manner. (I've yet to view the video.) Getting these serious problems into the public domain is an important first step.
