Join us and a local artist for Teen Art Night at the Library on August 25th, 6:30 p.m.

Reminder to turn in your reading logs to the library. Help us reach our community goal of 100,000 minutes. We currently are at about 40,000 so we are hoping that many of you have logs to turn in. End date is Sept. 8th.

National Book Lovers Day is August 9th. Find your favorite book to reread or discover a new favorite book at the Library!
National Read a Comic in Public Day is August 28th. Pick up a Graphic Novel at the Library and proudly read it in public!

August is International Peace Month. Did you know there is a Peace Pole behind the library? Stop by to see it. August 19th is World Humanitarian Day. We will also be celebrating the end of the Summer Reading Program with a party. It will begin with a ceremony at the Peace Pole and followed by a coup...

Celebrate Family Fun Month with a trip to the Library! We have a display of ideas you can do with your family. Spend a day in nature, take a trip, go to the beach, set up a lemonade stand and more! Also, August 5th is National Play Outside Day- do it with your family! August 6th is American Family Day

Saturday, bring a friend to the library and share a snack and lemonade! Share some laughs, maybe a game or book! International Day of Friendship! See you Saturday!

A meet the author event, and book discussion will be held on July 19, at 3 p.m. at the library. Chris Thelen, author of Islands of Deception will be on hand to sell and sign his books and discuss the book with the Book Club.

Meet the Artist of our fantastic mural, Keith Grassmick, on July 10th at 5 p.m. Snacks and drinks will be available as well as other creations by Keith. All are welcome.

The Theme is to build a machine to turn the page of a book. Put your thinking caps on! Some materials will be provided but if you have ideas using any special items you might have, please feel free to bring them.

Also, there is a Plein Air event at Lois Stipp's Gallery at noon on July 11th. The Library will provide watercolor supplies for people to borrow, and space to display their creations.

logo color summer 2023.png Teen Summer Quest begins on July 1. Teens will solve riddles related to mysterious creatures and legends to close a rift between our world and the other side. Each week a new puzzle will be posted for them to solve. At the end of the month, they will submit their solution...
