We are putting wood chips around the small trees at the school on Monday, June 22, 9:30 - 11:00, weather permitting. Jacque will have her summer school class there, spreading wood chips and learning about trees. We could use a few volunteers to help. High school students, you can get some volunteer ...

Moorka is home! Thanks to Joddy for the tip, and to the power line tree trimming crew for rescuing her from the top of a giant oak. It was very dramatic!

Update on trees: we have white oaks, bur oaks, American chestnuts, red maples, black cherries, serviceberries, American hazelnuts (shrub) and ninebarks (shrub).
